The ARK Institute of Learning Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Committee of the ARK allows students with low incomes to receive services. This independent committee carefully considers applications and assigns sliding fee scale amounts based on family circumstances.

Scholarships are awarded to the extent that donations are made available to the ARK Institute of Learning for this purpose.

Applications: The committee will send an application to persons who believe that they qualify for support and who need help because of a learning disorder. Applicants must be able to travel to the agency in Tacoma, Washington, during regular business hours. Applications can be obtained by emailing the ARK Institute of Learning and requesting that an application be mailed to you. Be sure to include your complete name and address.

An applicant's financial need shall be the primary consideration for receiving a scholarship. However, in some instances donors make it possible to provide services to individuals where special situations such as health or family circumstances are overriding factors.

The selection of the scholarship recipients is made on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis

If you, your civic organization, or commercial agency wish to help maintain this program, your help would be greatly appreciated. All the donated funds to the scholarship program go to support scholarships. The committee is not paid for their services. All administrative costs are borne by the ARK Institute.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Scholarship Fund of the ARK. Your help can change a life.
